El Toro High School linebacker Brian Haas and tackle Jeremy Hogue have made oral commitments to USC and will sign national letters of intent to attend the university on Feb. 6, according to Bob Johnson, former El Toro coach.

Haas, a 6-foot-2, 217-pound senior, led El Toro with 52 lead tackles and 29 assists. He was a three-year starter and wore the same jersey number (33) as former El Toro standout Scott Ross, named the most valuable player at USC this season.

Hogue, 6-4, 250, was El Toro’s only two-way starter, doubling as an offensive tackle. Hogue is also the starting center for El Toro’s basketball team.
