Boy Held for Shooting Firearm Outside School

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — A 13-year-old boy fired a .44-caliber magnum pistol at police Friday outside the middle school from which he had been suspended for burglary, authorities said. No one was injured.
The boy was taken to the city’s juvenile shelter after he was found hiding in a classroom at Paxon Middle School.
