San Diego 71, Clairemont 44--San Diego (10-2) took a 16-0 lead before Clairemont (4-7) got back into the game. Mike Watson led the Cavers with 20 points and J.R. Greer and Marino Bowman added 15 each.

Helix 64, Santana 34--Kevin Hagen scored 16 points, including 12 on four three-pointers in his first start. Teammate Reynell Dukes added 12 points, Gary Walton 11. Also for Helix, Jason Falkner grabbed 10 rebounds and Brandon Sanders had eight assists.

Serra 69, La Jolla 42--Guard Justin Wible scored a game-high 25 points to lead visiting Serra (5-5). Tony Ethridge, a 6-2 junior, added 17 for Serra, which led 36-12 at halftime. La Jolla is 0-11.

Grossmont 89, El Capitan 79--Jean Beaville scored a game-high 89 to lead visiting Grossmont (9-5). Ryan Gregory added 24 for Grossmont. El Capitan is 6-7.

Valhalla 94, Granite Hills 53--Guard Mark Dillon led Valhalla with a game-high 23 points. Forward Mike Nalu added 16 for Valhalla (13-5). Granite Hills is 2-11.

Lincoln 81, USDHS 70--Joe Clark led USDHS (10-2) with 18 points and David Silva added 14 points.

Monte Vista 62, West Hills 36--Jabari Williams scored a game-high 29 points and Aaron Elliott added 21 to lead Monte Vista (9-6). West Hills is 1-10.
