‘Streamlined’ Apple Pie

While reading your top 10 recipes (Jan. 3), I noticed that your Apple & Cream Crumb Pie is almost identical to one of my old favorites. But my recipe is “streamlined” to fit a busy, working mother by using a readymade pie shell and a can of Comstock apple pie slices. I have had this recipe since the early 1970s, when a co-worker brought it for a potluck luncheon. It was such a hit that the recipe was copied for all to take home.
