In the Empire League:

El Dorado 2, Cypress 1--Host El Dorado (8-5-2, 2-0 in league) took advantage of goals by Carlos Cedano in the 25th minute and Rodrigo Cid five minutes later for the victory. Chris Pohl scored for Cypress (0-1-1) in the second half. El Dorado goalie Blayne Leitner and Cypress goalie Raymond Arbizu each had eight saves.

In the Freeway League:

Sunny Hills 4, Buena Park 0--Matt Marino scored two goals and Jason Fichtelberg and Greg Schank each scored one for host Sunny Hills (7-3, 1-0). Buena Park is 3-7, 0-1.

In the Orange League:

Anaheim 5, Western 0--Luis Benitez scored three goals and Michael Tsarnas and Jaime Garcia each scored one for Anaheim (11-1-1, 1-0).

In the Pacific Coast League:

Laguna Hills 5, Century 1--Juan Strutton scored two goals and Brian Beaman, Jiuseppe Lombardo and Daymon Higgins each scored one for host Laguna Hills (8-5-1, 1-0). Pedro Elios scored for Century (1-6, 0-1).

In the Sunset League:

Huntington Beach 3, Fountain Valley 0--Byron Aguas, Chris Wright and Jason Greasley each scored for Huntington Beach (5-3-4, 2-0). Dean Syrengelas had two assists and Aguas had one. Matt Goldman had 14 saves for his second consecutive shutout. Ryan Bertoni had seven saves for Fountain Valley (1-3-1, 2-1).
