SILVER LINING: Army lawyers at Los Alamitos have been getting lots of calls about benefits from reservists called to active duty. One plus is a cut on interest rates on loans, including mortgages and credit cards, to 6%. Another lets single reservists break apartment leases without penalties. . . . “You had to be a reservist when you took out the loans,” a spokesman says. The benefits are 50 years old, part of the Soldiers and Sailors Civil Relief Act.
