CNN at the U.N.: As part of the network’s Persian Gulf coverage, Cable News Network has installed a permanent broadcast booth at the United Nations in New York. The facility--which has camera crews, engineers, field producers and two reporters assigned to it--will allow CNN to report live at any time. CNN said that this move marked the first time any network will be reporting from the United Nations around the clock.
