GIRLS’ BASKETBALL ROUNDUP : Los Amigos Wins in Double Overtime
Carrie Elsaesser scored seven points in overtime to lead the Los Amigos High School girls’ basketball team to a 67-60 double-overtime victory over Kennedy Wednesday in a Garden Grove League game at Kennedy.
In other Garden Grove League games:
Rancho Alamitos 70, Garden Grove 51--Anita Stecker had 19 points, Timerie James had 13 points and Shannon James had 12 for Rancho Alamitos (16-0, 6-0).
Pacifica 44, Bolsa Grande 18--Jennifer Surface had 16 points for host Pacifica (6-6, 4-2).
