World IN BRIEF : LEBANON : Dynamite Explosion Hits Beirut Bank

A dynamite explosion rocked the Lebno-Francaise bank in Beirut in the third such attack on Western interests in two days, police said. Police said a few sticks of dynamite exploded in the bank office in the Mazraa neighborhood causing damage. Early reports did not mention any casualties. Monday’s attack came less than 24 hours after the Italian Embassy was hit with a rocket-propelled grenade and less than 48 hours after dynamite exploded at a British bank.
