Jagger on Film--Again: Rock star Mick Jagger will have a starring role in a futuristic action film called “Free Jack,” set to start filming today in Atlanta. The Morgan Creek Productions film was written by Ron Shusett, the creator of “Aliens” and “Total Recall,” and will also star Anthony Hopkins and Emilio Estevez. In the film, which is set in 2009, Jagger will play a 21st-Century high-tech bounty hunter. The movie centers around a young race car driver (Estevez) who is snatched from the clutches of death only to find himself lost 20 years in the future and a pawn in a bizarre plot. This will be Jagger’s first film role in 20 years. In 1970, the lead singer of the Rolling Stones starred in “Ned Kelly” and “Performance.”
