SAN JUAN CAPISTRANO : Woman’s Body Found Near Road
Homicide detectives are investigating the death of a woman whose body was discovered on the side of Ortega Highway early Sunday morning, sheriff’s deputies reported.
The unidentified woman’s body was discovered about 6:40 a.m. near Hunt Club Drive by a passing motorist who notified a security guard at a nearby residential area, Sheriff’s Lt. Larry Abbott said.
Abbott described the woman as Latino, 5 feet, 1 inch tall, and weighing 110 pounds. She has brown hair and brown eyes. Her death is listed as a homicide pending further investigation, authorities said. An autopsy is scheduled for today.
