U.S.A. Bound: Moscow’s Bolshoi Theater will return to the United States in June for the first time in 16 years for performances at New York’s Metropolitan Opera House and Wolf Trap Farm Park in Virginia. The company will perform a new production of Tchaikovsky’s “Eugene Onegin,” which will have its world premiere at the Metropolitan; Rimsky Korsakov’s opera-ballet, “Mlada,” never before seen in the United States, and Tchaikovsky’s “The Maid of Orleans,” a New York premiere. The company will appear at the Metropolitan June 25-July 6 and at Wolf Trap July 11-15.
