SHORT TAKES : Success Price Too High--Curtis
NEW YORK — Jamie Lee Curtis says she’s sometimes jealous of the career successes of such actresses as Michelle Pfeiffer and Jodie Foster.
“Would I like it? In a second,” she says in the Feb. 21 issue of US magazine.
But the price is too high, Curtis said.
“What I wouldn’t want is the kind of personal demands that kind of success gives you. Neither one of them is married; neither one of them has children. And I wouldn’t want those demands placed on my life.”
Curtis, 32, is married to director Christopher Guest. They have a 2-year-old daughter, Annie.
She began in horror flicks and now appears on television’s “Anything But Love.”
