Whites as Villains
To Jerry Patterson: Oh please!!!
There were other sympathetic whites in the film, specifically Charles Rocket’s character and a blatantly obvious one--Stands With Fist.
Granted, director Kevin Costner dwelt perhaps too much on the Native Americans’ noble character. But I’m willing to overlook that for the wonderful spectacle he allowed me to be a part of for three hours.
