Pasadena : Budget to Be Discussed
The city budget will be discussed at 7:30 p.m. Thursday at a general meeting of the group Pasadena Advocates.
The meeting, open to the public, will be held in the William E. Leonhard auditorium of the Ralph Parsons Co., 75 N. Fair Oaks Ave.
Discussion will include where the city money comes from, how it is spent, and how city commissions and task forces influence spending. Speakers include Pasadena Director of Finance Mary Bradley, City Director John Crowley and Greg Doerschlag, a city Endowment Advisory Commission member.
Pasadena Advocates is a nonprofit organization formed in part to provide voter education on city issues.
