Chris Jackson, a rookie guard for the Denver Nuggets, has been sidelined after a heart test revealed an irregularity, but team officials said the problem does not seem serious.

Jackson, who also suffers from the neurological disorder Tourette’s Syndrome, missed all 10 of his shots Thursday night against the New Jersey Nets, the first time in his pro career he had been held scoreless.

“He came out of the game and said he was dizzy and weak,” Coach Paul Westhead said. “But he practiced (Friday) and he seemed fine.”

Team physician Allen Schreiber said tests conducted Friday revealed a minor problem “that could be responsible for the symptoms of dizziness.”

Schreiber said Jackson would be examined by a specialist in Houston during the All-Star break.
