‘Playing Dress-Up’ Is No Game to Parents

The world is a hard enough place for so-called grown-ups, without putting it on those little shoulders and taking away a part of life that is so precious to look back on.

A lot of mothers have to live their lives through their daughters because their own lives are so rotten, and perhaps they didn’t get the attention they needed when they were young kids.

Their daughters have their hair bleached because blondes have more fun, and they have to get a boyfriend right away. Otherwise this is a reflection on the mothers that their daughters must be ugly. It’s this sort of mentality that gets their young daughters into trouble, and they wonder where they went wrong.

I think the schools would be doing the young a favor if they had them wear uniforms until they leave school. There would be no fighting over shoes, make-up or envy about one another.
