Volvo Picks Irvine Site: Volvo America Inc. is moving two of its divisions from Los Angeles County to a Barranca Parkway office in Irvine, a company spokesman said Tuesday. The company will move its western regional headquarters from Torrance and its lending unit, Volvo Finance North America, from Carson. The move will shift about 50 jobs to Orange County. Diana Boyce, a field parts specialist, said Volvo was attracted by lower prices for office space in Irvine.
