2.4 Temblor Rattles Area Around Inglewood
A minor temblor rattled several Southern California communities Wednesday afternoon, but there were no reports of damage or injury, authorities said.
The 2.4 magnitude earthquake occurred at 4:15 p.m., Caltech Seismological Laboratory spokesman Robert Finn said. Caltech said the quake was centered one mile northeast of Inglewood.
Inglewood police and nearby Culver City authorities said they received a few calls about the quake, but there were no reports of damage or injury.
