Childlike Pleasures
Some of life’s greatest pleasures can be found in the simplest of all places--such as the smile on a child’s face, beaming from ear to ear.
There should be plenty of that kind of pleasure during the Ventura Children’s Festival being held Friday at the Buena High School Auditorium.
Friday’s installment of the monthly series--which features nationally recognized talent--will have award-winning singer-songwriter Linda Arnold, performing numbers from her latest recording “Peppermint Wings.”
“Linda has a wonderful rapport with children,” said Jody Fickes, owner of the Ventura bookstore Adventures For Kids.
“She does just a lovely job.”
The performance will begin at 7 p.m.
The school is at 5670 Telegraph Road, Ventura. Tickets are $3.50 for children; $5.50 for adults. Admission $1 more at the door.
Tickets available at all Ventura elementary schools and at Adventures For Kids, 3457 Telegraph Road, Ventura.
