Channel Islands 77, Agoura 74--Brian Schimelpfening scored 21 points and Stephane Brown had 20 points, 10 rebounds and nine assists as Channel Islands (19-5, 11-3) tied Thousand Oaks for the Marmonte League championship. Thousand Oaks, which defeated Channel Islands twice in league play, will be the league’s top-seeded team in the playoffs. Sean Martin had 27 points and eight assists for Agoura (14-8, 8-6) and Eddie Corridori added 22 points.

Royal 80, Westlake 69--David Tyner scored 31 points to lead Royal (17-9, 8-6) in a Marmonte League game. John Van Spyk had 17 points and eight blocked shots for host Westlake (6-17, 3-11).

Camarillo 85, Newbury Park 73--David Harbour had 39 points and 16 rebounds and David Nathaniel added 16 points for host Camarillo (15-7, 9-5) in a Marmonte League game. Tim Lane scored 33 points for Newbury Park.

Granada Hills 80, Kennedy 61--Adrian Sellers had 14 points and 14 rebounds and Jerry Allen added 14 points, 10 rebounds and six assists as Granada Hills (18-5, 7-3) won a North Valley League game.

Notre Dame 88, Crespi 73--Bobby DaCorsi had 26 points--18 in the first half--and Marcelo Anderson-Tellez added 20 points--13 in the first half--as host Notre Dame (20-4, 11-1) took an 18-point halftime lead in a Mission League game. John Curtin scored 23 points for Crespi (9-15, 3-9).

Buena 88, Hueneme 86 (OT)--Nick Houchin’s layup at the buzzer in overtime carried Buena (13-10, 7-7) to the Channel League win. Buena’s Matt Egan (35 points) scored on a tip-in at the end of regulation to send the game into overtime. Tony Smith scored 30 points for Hueneme (7-16, 4-10).

Saugus 56, Canyon 37--Greg Yumbar had a game-high 17 points and 11 rebounds and Josh Hinrichs added 12 off the bench as Saugus (16-9, 5-5) completed a sweep of its Golden League rival.

El Camino Real 64, Chatsworth 53--El Camino Real’s accuracy from the free-throw line compensated for its cold perimeter shooting in a West Valley League game at home. The Conquistadores (12-8, 5-5) converted 22 of 29 free throws--including 14 of 18 in the fourth quarter. Sam Sarpong scored a team-high 16 points and guard Adam Kodish added 14 with 10 assists and seven steals.

Chan Manor led Chatsworth with 20 points.

Reseda 58, San Fernando 33--James Pigford scored 16 points and Marquis Burns added 13 for Reseda (12-8, 7-3) in a West Valley League contest.

Palmdale 76, Antelope Valley 65--Jason Grimes scored a team-high 20 points and Chris Tampoya added 14 as visiting Palmdale (15-9, 6-4) clinched second place in the Golden League.

Brock Chase scored 32 points for Antelope Valley (11-14, 5-5).

Calabasas 94, Nordhoff 70--Chuck Sergis scored 22 points and Tom Hoover had 21 for Calabasas (10-10, 3-5) in a Frontier League win. Nordhoff is 14-9, 3-5.

Harvard 88, St. Francis 79--Harvard embarked on an 8-0 run near the end of the second quarter in a San Fernando Valley League game. Andres Carlos had 17 points and 17 rebounds for the Saracens (18-4, 9-1). Jon Landa (23 points) and Kyle Barrett (20) paced St. Francis.

Glendale 61, Hoover 57--Hai Tran scored 21 and Jason Harper had 20 for Glendale (14-10, 5-5) in the Pacific League game.

Bishop Montgomery 86, Chaminade 58--Brian Cote made six three-point shots and scored 24 points for Chaminade (6-16, 3-9) in the Mission League game.

Bell-Jeff 49, LaSalle 40--Bell-Jeff’s full-court pressure broke open the San Fernando Valley League game, as the Guards outscored La Salle, 22-6, in the third quarter.

Poly 87, Sylmar 56--Twelve players scored and seven scored nine to 11 points for visiting Poly in the East Valley League game.

Marcos Reyes led Poly (7-11, 6-5) with 11 points.

Grant 44, Sherman Oaks CES 42--Grant’s Tyler Butland made a 15-foot jump shot with two seconds left to keep Grant (17-2, 11-0) unbeaten in Mid-Valley League play.

North Hollywood 75, Canoga Park 58--Robert Hill had 28 points and 15 rebounds and Eric Jackson added 18 points and 12 rebounds to lead North Hollywood (11-11, 6-4) in a Mid--Valley league game.

St. Paul 74, Alemany 68--Will Burr (18 points), Louis Hamel (17) and Rich Dice (16, 11 rebounds) led Alemany (9-16, 4-8) in the Mission League game.

Santa Barbara 85, Ventura 71-- Despite Jon Seiler’s 21 points, Ventura (13-10, 9-5 in league play) dropped a Channel League game at home.

Campbell Hall 67, Buckley 48--Campbell Hall (20-3, 7-3) posted its first 20-win season in the Delphic League game.

L.A. Lutheran 57, First Lutheran 42--Matt McGraw scored 12 points to lead L.A. Lutheran (11-10, 8-5) to the Heritage League win at First Lutheran.

Holy Martyrs 55, Oakwood 48--Holy Martyrs avenged its only Liberty League loss.

GIRLS’ BASKETBALL

North Hollywood 76, Canoga Park 31--Jacinda Sweet had 23 points, seven rebounds, six steals and six assists to lead North Hollywood (21-3, 10-0) in a Mid-Valley game.

Glendale 54, Hoover 24--Jennifer Dalton had 19 points and nine steals as Glendale (18-5, 10-0) took the Pacific League title.

Grant 59, Sherman Oaks CES 36--Host Grant clinched sole possession of its third consecutive East Valley League title.

El Camino Real 62, Cleveland 50--Amy Horst had 22 points and 14 rebounds for Cleveland (8-6, 6-4).

Holy Martyrs 44, Oakwood 18--Holy Martyrs (17-3, 10-0) completed its second undefeated Liberty League season in a row behind Aline Altibarmakian’s 12 points and 11 rebounds.

BOYS’ SOCCER

St. Francis 2, Harvard 1--Brian Hydar scored in the first half, and Kevin Caberto took a pass from Chris Muir and scored 10 minutes into the second half as St. Francis earned a share of the San Fernando Valley League title.

GIRLS’ SOCCER

Louisville 7, Notre Dame 0--The Royals (16-4-2, 9-2-1) clinched a tie for the Mission League title.

Alemany 3, St. Paul 0--Melody Arvonio scored a hat trick for Alemany (13-9-2, 9-2-1) in a Mission League match at St. Paul.

Chaminade 2, Bishop Montgomery 0--Odette Velasquez and Elizabeth Poduska each scored a goal for host Chaminade (16-2-5, 8-2-2) in a Mission League match.
