St. Margaret’s Westendorf Scores 58 in 104-68 Victory

Ryan Westendorf scored 58 points, the second-highest total in Orange County history, to lead St. Margaret’s to a 104-68 Academy League victory over St. Michael’s Prep Friday at St. Margaret’s.

Loara’s Tes Whitlock set the county record this season with 68 points. Whitlock also scored 58 this season.

Westendorf made 26 of 35 shots from the field and six of 11 free throws. His previous career high was 43 points against Laguna Beach Dec. 14.

St. Margaret (15-6, 7-1) tied for the league title with Liberty Christian, a 61-45 winner over Heritage Christian Friday.

Jacques Wright scored 19 points for St. Michael’s Prep.
