Stockholders OK Sale of AmBase Unit

AmBase Corp., a New York-based property and casualty insurer, announced that its stockholders had approved the sale of its Home Insurance Co. unit to a Scandinavian investor group.
A 54.1% majority approved the sale to TVH Acquisition Corp., which is owned by an investor group that includes Trygg-Hansa Holding, a major Swedish insurer, and Industrial Mutual Insurance Co., a major Finnish insurer.
