Fashion is panting hot at Cal Poly Pomona, where baggy is big.

Two years ago, only weightlifters were into the loose, brightly colored “muscle pants.” Then rapper M.C. Hammer got into the act with a fancy version. And baggy pants took off.

Now, on men and women, they’re flapping down every street and ballooning on every corner, flaunting bright, sassy patterns and discreet two-tone ones. And the bottom line is that they’re as comfortable as pajamas.
