Hammer to Hammer Post: The grandson of the late industrialist Armand Hammer was elected chairman of the board of Westwood’s troubled Armand Hammer Museum of Art and Cultural Center. Michael Hammer, whose selection had been widely expected, has been an executive at Occidental Petroleum Corp., which Armand Hammer headed until his death Dec. 10. The museum, which opened in late November, has been hamstrung by a lack of direction for its program in the wake of Hammer’s death.
