Auto Insurance Hearings Continue: State Insurance Commissioner John Garamendi today is holding the second of two days of hearings in Los Angeles on his proposed regulations to implement Proposition 103, the auto insurance rollback initiative. In remarks Wednesday, he said he is “especially interested to hear how we can accelerate--even turbocharge--the process, eliminate the ceaseless litigation and relitigation of issues, and promptly deliver rollbacks to consumers--or explain to them why not.” He said his department will take action to limit “frivolous” legal actions blocking implementation of Proposition 103.
