HAL Inc. Sells Route: The parent of troubled Hawaiian Airlines, disclosed in a filing with the SEC that it is selling its route between Honolulu and Fukuoka, Japan, to Northwest Airlines for $7 million. An earlier deal to lease aircraft from Northwest fell through because of objections from Hawaiian’s pilot union, HAL said. The route sale needs Transportation Department approval.
