VENTURA : Wine and Gift Boat Gets Tentative OK
A cargo boat that would sell wine and gifts and hold wine tastings was given preliminary approval for a permanent berth at Ventura Harbor Village by the Ventura Planning Commission.
A permit would give the 60-foot Cargo Queen use of a commercial dock next to Spinnaker Drive in the Ventura Harbor near Hornblower’s restaurant.
Tuesday night’s decision clears the way for the California Coastal Commission to review the proposal.
