Leach Follows Wife to Irvine Valley College

Bill Leach has been named men’s cross-country coach at Irvine Valley College. His wife, Julie, was named Irvine Valley’s women’s cross-country coach last week.

Leach, a history teacher at Corona del Mar High School, co-coached the Corona del Mar girls’ cross-country and track teams with his wife from 1977-1983. A former All-American in water polo at UC Irvine, Leach, 44, was a member of the U.S. Olympic kayak team in 1976 and is among the world’s top-ranked professional triathletes in the elite master division.
