COLLEGE BASKETBALL WOMEN’S ROUNDUP : Long Beach Coasts Past Santa Barbara
Dana Wilkerson scored 27 points and Penny Moore added 21 in leading the Cal State Long Beach women’s basketball team past UC Santa Barbara, 80-68, in a Big West Conference game at the Santa Barbara Events Center on Thursday night.
UC Santa Barbara was led by Becky Brown’s 14 points.
Cal State Fullerton 77, San Diego State 49--Genia Miller scored 25 points and grabbed 17 rebounds to lead the Titans (19-6) in a nonconference victory at home. Joey Ray added 21 points and Claudette Jackson had 19.
San Diego State (12-10) was led by Kieishsha Garnes’ 27 points.
