DIVISION II-A ROUNDUP
Woodbridge 95, Bolsa Grande 69--Woodbridge sank 12 three-pointers in a rout of Bolsa Grande in the first round.
Forward Ryan Rauch led all scorers with 19 points for the Warriors (18-9) and teammate Bryant McLemore had 14. Phaksavan Sayareth led the Matadors with 17 points, including all three of Bolsa Grande’s successful three-point shots.
Woodbridge dominated throughout the game and pulled out of reach with a 16-0 run early in the second half, making the score 65-36.
“We had a high degree of accuracy tonight, which was outstanding,” assistant coach John Halagan said. “We’re not athletic enough to just show up and beat them. We have to have a great game.”
