Media’s Role in Gulf War

“Laws stand mute in the midst of arms”--Cicero offered us this timeless observation.

President Bush is making sure to follow it to the mark. In this war, this unjust war (as no war, ethically speaking, can be just), Bush, a self-appointed police captain for the world, has silenced the laws of morality, justice and reason.

And yet he has been nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize! Isn’t that rather like giving Milli Vanilli a Grammy?

President Bush, I do more than pray for peace, as you prescribe. I demand peace. God will not fix the damage that you have created and will, no doubt, continue to create. It is up to the people who care to stop this lawbreaking crusade before more destruction has occurred. Bush’s “new world order” has no order.
