Gates’ Remarks Over Slaying of Policewoman
The senseless and tragic shooting death of rookie policewoman Tina Kerbrat upsets me terribly. While my heart goes out to her husband and their two small children, I am angry with an absurd law that allows the Police Department to hire a mother with small children in such a dangerous job. What a total lack of common sense in human relations! What a bad signal for the family unit!
