LOS ALAMITOS : Yearly Run Expands to Several Events
An annual 10-kilometer run scheduled for Saturday has been expanded to include new events: a 5-kilometer race, a team run and a 5-kilometer “costume fun walk.”
The 11th annual event will feature the two races for individuals, plus a 5-kilometer family team run for any two pre-registered members of a family and the walk, in which prizes will go to the best-costumed walkers.
Registration costs $17 for the runs and $7 for the walk. For information, contact the Los Alamitos Recreation & Community Services Department at (213) 430-1073.
