Pomona : Park-and-Ride Lot Opens
State, county and city officials have officially opened a new park-and-ride commuter lot with 553 spaces.
Most of the money to build the $5.4-million parking lot on the north side of the San Bernardino Freeway at Fairplex Drive, came from county transportation funds. The rest of the funding came from state and federal sources.
The facility serves passengers taking Southern California Rapid Transit District express buses to and from Los Angeles.
