Peace Proposals and U.S. Bombing of Civilians
Saddam Hussein’s deal is much more than a cruel hoax. He is selling us a rug. But first he is bargaining. We reject his first offer. He then removes one or two of his 12 conditions and tries again, hoping to gain some of his demands. Meanwhile, he shows the world how reasonable he is and how unreasonable we are.
Our only answer must be unconditional surrender of his forces--no bargaining.
