SHADOWS AND LIGHT: The current issue of the slick magazine Antiques & Fine Art lists seven leading watercolor artists, including Laguna Beach’s Crandall Norton and his 1963 painting “Snacks.” Author Gordon McClelland of San Clemente says the work, done at Main Beach, “has a well-planned composition” that “takes advantage of large positive and negative shapes.”
