A leader of an Arab guerrilla group was quoted as saying the U.S. military airport at Frankfurt, Germany, is a target for his guerrillas. In an interview in Amman, Jordan, Sheik Assad Tamimi, identified as the leader of Islamic Jihad, told the daily Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung of the plan. The Rhein-Main air base at Frankfurt is the main departure point in Europe for U.S. troops and equipment headed to the Persian Gulf. Tamimi said all countries that support the U.S.-led coalition against Iraq will face attack by Islamic Jihad. “Anyone who provides money, weapons or soldiers for the war is a target for us. The current situation will lead all of Europe into hell,” he told the newspaper.
