One Killed, 1 Wounded in Drive-By Shooting
A 28-year-old man was killed and a second man injured when shots were fired into a Wilmington home early Saturday during an apparent drug dispute.
James Anthony Lariva died at the scene of the 4:25 a.m. shooting in the 1600 block of North Broad Avenue. He had been shot twice in the back. Police also found a 36-year-old man who had been shot several times in the legs.
Acting on information from witnesses, who said the shooting was drug related, detectives arrested John Clint Draper, 43, at a San Pedro residence.
