California IN BRIEF : MARYSVILLE : Attorneys Meeting in Flood Lawsuit

Attorneys have been meeting in closed session to agree on courtroom ground rules for the $1.5-billion Yuba County flood lawsuit trial. Lawyers for the 3,000 plaintiffs in the case are trying to prove that the state and Reclamation District 784 should be held responsible for damage from the 1986 flood of Linda and Olivehurst that drove 24,000 people from their homes and businesses.
