Dellums on House Intelligence Panel
In response to “Shedding the Mentality of War,” by Rep. Dellums (Column Left, Commentary, Feb. 14):
Such a long article, so many evocations to the late Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., and not even one word of pity for the Israelis under the Scud missile attacks, not one word about the decimated Kuwaitis, not one mention of the Assyrian victims of the Baghdad regime, nor even one mention of the massacred Kurds. Dellums, a true friend of the Marxist dictators and “guerrillas,” writes about peace and moral coexistence. What a bloody farce, indeed.
I fear for the safety of the intelligence officers of friendly countries should Dellums be admitted to the secrets of the House Intelligence Committee. No sane foreign state would want to risk sharing its intelligence information with the U.S. Dellums ought to be shedding his mentality of appeasement.
