WOMEN’S BASKETBALL
Chris Enger broke her own West Coast Conference record for blocked shots in a season as USD defeated Pepperdine, 87-68, in both teams’ final game of the season.
Enger, a 6-foot-5 sophomore from Vista High who is already USD’s career leader, had two blocks, giving her 98 for the season. She had 96 blocks last year.
