Dominguez Hills Beats Chapman, 5-0

Armando Plascencia threw a six-hit shutout Saturday afternoon at Hart Park in Orange as Cal State Dominguez Hills defeated Chapman College, 5-0, in a California Collegiate Athletic Assn. game.

The win helped Dominguez Hills (6-6 overall, 2-1 in conference play) take two of three games in the CCAA-opening series with Chapman. Chapman won, 3-2, on Thursday, but the Toros won, 5-1, on Friday.
