The Beguiled (A&E; Sunday at noon). Don Siegel’s stylish, darkly humorous 1971 Southern Gothic stars Clint Eastwood as a wounded Northern soldier hidden on a plantation serving as a girls’ finishing school run by a repressed Geraldine Page.

Street Scene (Channel 56 Tuesday at 10 a.m.) King Vidor’s 1931 film from the Elmer Rice play is a vivid evocation of lower class life in the big city, with virtually its entire story taking place on the stoop of an old New York apartment house yet never seeming merely a filmed play. Sylvia Sidney stars.

Iceman (Channel 13 Friday 3:30 a.m.) This 1984 Fred Schepisi film is a poignant fable celebrating the sacredness of nature in which young anthropologist Timothy Hutton brings back to life a Neanderthal Man (John Lone) frozen in ice for 40,000 years.

The Freshman (Channel 28 Saturday at 11:10 p.m.) A 1925 Harold Lloyd classic, this silent comedy finds Lloyd in the title role as a wet-behind-the-ears frosh desperate to be liked.
