PLACENTIA : $8,000 Raise OKd for City Administrator
The City Council has approved an $8,000 salary increase for City Administrator Robert D’Amato following a favorable evaluation of his job performance.
The council decided unanimously last week to raise D’Amato’s salary to $88,000 a year after members gave him a positive evaluation in closed session on Feb. 5. D’Amato’s last salary increase came in March, 1990.
“The council was very well satisfied with Mr. D’Amato, and that’s why he gets this raise,” Councilman Norman Z. Eckenrode said.
