FREEWAY REPAIRS : Caltrans Issues Weekly Motorists’ Advisory

Caltrans advises motorists that it has scheduled the following freeway work in the Southeast and Long Beach area this week. Repair locations are spotted on the map by number and are identified in the list below by the nearest city or cities.

ARTESIA FREEWAY (91)

1. Bellflower: Eastbound No. 5 lane from Lakewood Boulevard to Bellflower Boulevard, plus the Lakewood Boulevard and Clark Avenue on-ramps, and Bellflower Boulevard off-ramp and on-ramp; 6 a.m. to 1 p.m. today; crack seal repair.

HARBOR FREEWAY (110)

2. Carson: Connector road from the southbound Harbor Freeway (110) to the southbound San Diego Freeway (405); 6:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. today; tree trimming.

3. Carson: Northbound No. 4 lane at the 228th Street overcrossing; 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Monday and Tuesday; bridge repair.

LONG BEACH FREEWAY (710)

4. Long Beach: Southbound No. 1 and 2 lanes from Compton Boulevard to the San Diego Freeway and Long Beach Freeway interchange; 6 a.m. to noon today; raised markers.

5. Long Beach: Northbound No. 5 and 6 lanes from the Artesia Freeway (91) to Alondra Boulevard, plus the Alondra Boulevard off-ramp, the westbound Artesia Freeway connector to the northbound Long Beach Freeway, and the Atlantic Avenue on-ramp; 6:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. today; asphalt repair.

6. Long Beach: Southbound No. 1 lane from the San Diego Freeway-Long Beach Freeway separation to Anaheim Street; 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday; raised markers.

7. Long Beach: Northbound No. 3 lane from Anaheim Street to Wardlow Road, plus the Pacific Coast Highway off-ramp and on-ramp to Willow Street; 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. Tuesday; raised markers.

8. Long Beach: Southbound No. 4 lane from Long Beach Boulevard to the San Diego Freeway-Long Beach Freeway separation, plus the Long Beach Boulevard on-ramp and the Del Amo Boulevard off-ramp and on-ramp; 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. Wednesday; raised markers.

9. Long Beach: Southbound No. 3 lane from Wardlow Road to Anaheim Street, plus the Willow Street off-ramp and on-ramp and the Pacific Coast Highway off-ramp and on-ramp; 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. Thursday; raised markers.

10. Various Cities: Northbound and southbound No. 1 lanes from the Santa Ana Freeway (5) to the Los Angeles River; 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Tuesday; sweeping.

POMONA FREEWAY (60)

11. East Los Angeles: Eastbound No. 5 lane from Downey Road to Sunol Drive; 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Wednesday; crack seal repair.

12. Monterey Park: Westbound No. 5 lane from Paramount Boulevard to Wilcox Avenue-Garfield Avenue, and the Wilcox Avenue-Garfield Avenue off-ramp; 5:30 a.m. to noon today; guardrail repair.

13. Monterey Park: Westbound No. 5 lane from Atlantic Boulevard to Mednik Avenue, plus the northbound and southbound Atlantic Boulevard on-ramps; 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Friday; patching.

14. South El Monte: Westbound No. 1 lane from Rosemead Boulevard to Paramount Boulevard; 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Thursday; glare screen repair.

SAN DIEGO FREEWAY (405)

15. Long Beach: Northbound No. 4 lane at Santa Fe Avenue, plus the Santa Fe Avenue off-ramp and the northbound and southbound Long Beach Freeway connector to the northbound San Diego Freeway; 5 a.m. to 1 p.m. today; paving.

SAN GABRIEL RIVER FREEWAY (605)

16. Cerritos: Southbound No. 1 lane from Alondra Boulevard to the Artesia Freeway (91); 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. Thursday; crack seal repair.

17. Long Beach: Northbound No. 3 and 4 lanes at the Wardlow Road overcrossing, plus the Spring Street on-ramp; 6 to 11 a.m. today; bridge repair.

18. Norwalk: Southbound No. 1 lane from Firestone Boulevard to Rosecrans Avenue; 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Tuesday; crack seal repair.

19. Norwalk: Southbound No. 1 lane from Rosecrans Avenue to Alondra Boulevard; 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. Wednesday; crack seal repair.

SANTA ANA FREEWAY (5)
