Fidelity National to Focus on Title Insurance: Fidelity National Financial Inc. of Irvine said it is considering spinning off its real estate leasing and office development arm, Manchester Development Corp., as part of a move to refocus the parent company’s efforts on its core title insurance business. Manchester Development, with eight employees, conducts economic studies and lease negotiations for Fidelity when it establishes a new branch of its Fidelity Title Insurance unit, said Nancy Eichorn, vice president for investor relations. The company occasionally develops a small office building to house a new Fidelity Title branch when leasing in an existing building is not feasible.
