Fond of Newfoundland

I am writing regarding two articles, one by Richard Banks and the other by Carol McCabe, about the Canadian province of Newfoundland (“A Place Apart,” Feb. 24). I am a true Newfoundlander and have lived there all my life and I am currently a marine biology graduate student at California State University, Long Beach. I really enjoyed both articles. Thank you so much for printing them. Both articles made me yearn to be back in Newfoundland.
