Bon Voyage: The office that promoted French movies in Los Angeles has bid the Southland au revoir . Unifrance Film Los Angeles, run by the French government, closed its doors Friday after 10 years of operation. A spokeswoman said that it shut down due to a reorganization of Unifrance’s foreign offices. Unifrance left behind a collection of French film reference books and history materials to be shared by the Academy of Motion Pictures Arts & Sciences and the film studies libraries at USC and UCLA.
