1 Beaten, 1 Stabbed in Attack by Gang
A woman was beaten and kicked in the face, and a man was stabbed in the back early Sunday in what police said was a gang-related attack in Southeast San Diego.
Two black men and a black woman were attacked by 15 to 20 Latino males about 3:25 a.m. in the 6900 block of Lisbon Street, police said.
The woman was treated at Mercy Hospital and the man at Paradise Valley Hospital, but their injuries were not considered life-threatening, a police spokesman said.
Shots were fired at another man as he fled on foot, but he was not hit, police said.
The police gang unit is investigating.
